Portishead is dead, I think They wont do an album more, Its not nice, but Im actually looking for a modern trip hop.

I was downloading an album of a group called "Ganglion" by "Saltillo" and "Rhode Island" by Pelican City. These albums are really beatiful and They dont have a female permorfer. I know, I rather, women singers (example Mono is so exciting for me), but all these tracks are interesting and I recommen u with all safety.

I continue searching these "post trip hop" groups, can someones help me??
I also like that song moonlight moon iin Kill Bill 2, yet Its a little candy.

hi, i have been looking for new trip hop bands, and i listened some good music like royksoop, the postal service, le chevre, skye edwards ( the last morcheeba`s oice leader), sia, puracane, placebo, death in vegas. may be some of this groups don`t play trip hop similar to the bristol sound but i think this music could be nice to the trip hop lovers.

Ive never listened those bands, I remember that song of Kill Bill 2: "Shivaree - Goodnight moon" Its amazing, but a little candy... I can say Its a type example of "new trip hop"; actually: Im not listening so much trip hop like before --obviously, I listen long time Portishead and Mono and Moloko; their lyrics have fit in me-- I actually taste more electroclash, I know their lyrics are not deep like lyrics Portishead and Massive Attack can be, But I like female performers and their hot sound; Example, I saw the video Ride on a White horse by Goldfrapp and so Its sexy!! and the firts albums by her are more trip-hoppish, similar to Miss Kittin or Peaches. Some say that Cibo Matto is a nice post trip hop band, Ive never listened that; on the other hand, i recommend u a song: Saltillo - Remember me? (Its from album ganglion some sais which Its where the best trip-hoppish album last year.

i can`t believe that i did`nt say nothingh about the best bnads that play new trip hop : thievery corporation and zero 7 that is the best now. Also i can say dj esthero is one of the best female artist of this music.

Ganglion is a great album....
if you want something different try to check wax taylor (both albums), dj bootsie (from the band zagar), arts the beatdoctor and also livstrompet..the last will be difficult to find what trust me its forth trying

Hi dani I think Shivaree is not trip hop. U;re right it's little candy.Also Portishead is legend, the one for me. People said they need new th band. But i need only one forever. Like a Numb, Pedestal. Oh i'm from Mongolia kkk.
